High school education; or up to six months related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minor knowledge of electricity and mechanics.
Ability to communicate and pass information along simply and in an easy way to understand.
Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to read and understand simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
