Human Resource Assistant

American Falls, Idaho | Full-Time

Role Summary:

Assist in coordinating and developing policies/procedures for employee programs related to labor relations such as employment, compensation, benefits, training, and employee services. Assistant will also be involved in the company safety program by assisting in developing, implementing, and training employees.

Education And Training For This Role:

High School Diploma, and 1 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Skills Needed For This Role:

  • Bilingual-English/Spanish
  • Familiar working with the following Programs: Microsoft Office, particularly excel 
  • Basic Math Skills
  • Occasionally able to lift 10 pounds
  • HACCP certified

Essential Role Functions:

  • Assist with day to day operations of the HR functions and duties
  • Provide clerical and administrative support
  • Compile and update employee records (hard and soft copies)
  • Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations etc.)
  • Coordinate HR Projects (meetings, trainings, surveys, etc.) and take minutes
  • Deal with employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations
  • Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant date (absences, bonus, leaves, etc.…)
  • Communicate with public services when necessary
  • Properly handle complaints and grievance procedures
  • Assist in our safety program; write review and train employees
  • HR assistant will oversee running daily production reports
